Girls Taking Action Launches Nationwide Expansion Through Partnership with Philanthropist Kendra Scott
Kendra Scott is bringing “everyday magic” to Girls Taking Action (GTA) partnering with the program’s nationwide expansion to Atlanta, Georgia.
To celebrate this exciting partnership, GTA and Kendra Scott are hosting a special event on November 23rd from 12:00PM-2:00PM at the Kendra Scott store in the Mall of America, Minnesota, and Lenox Mall, Atlanta. The event features a unique jewelry collection designed by Kendra Scott, Kendra Scott will give back 20 percent of the proceeds benefiting Girls Taking Action.
This event is open to everyone, making it a simple and impactful way to give back to your community by purchasing a meaningful gift for yourself or loved one. Those visiting Kendra Scott stores in the Mall of America or Atlanta should tell the cashier that their purchase supports GTA. GTA’s expansion to Atlanta is set to launch a new chapter this November, led by a GTA Alumna, Sierra Star-Wolf. This is a pivotal, full-circle moment for GTA to reach hundreds more young women across the United States and provide them with the tools and resources they need to succeed in school and life. The “shine bright, do good” partnership focuses on mentoring, empowering, engaging and educating girls everywhere.
For Atlanta, this is a long-awaited return of GTA. Before COVID-19, the girls’ program was thriving in Atlanta Public Schools.
